About
Hey, I'm Jake Hill
I'm the founder of Overflow Creative, a one-person creative studio focused on church video production and education. For over 10 years, I've created high-quality video content for businesses and churches, and trained others to produce their own.
Currently, I serve as Production Director at The Refuge Church in Kannapolis, NC, where I oversee a volunteer team and 2 staff members. I also freelance with local businesses and churches, and create video education content through my course, Better Church Video.
In 2025, I directed and edited a 1-hour documentary film and launched a comprehensive online course containing 37 videos and 17+ hours of content on church videography.
